Trust me.

The Doctor rolls his eyes, moving around the console, and pressing a number of buttons and switches. He laughs slightly, as the TARDIS tips to the left, and he goes along with it. He’s back up in a second, before pressing a switch, keeping it there for a moment. Everything goes quiet, and he’s drifting in mid space.

He takes a step back, and looks at the TARDIS, a boy-ish grin on his face, “I love it when you do that.” He says, honestly, before folding his arms. Without an answer back, his face drops slightly. He was so used to having an answer. Someone there for him to hear him. Rose, Martha, Donna, Amy, Rory, Sarah, K-9. Mickey. Jack. He shakes his head, and steps back forward to the console. Having no idea where River is at this moment in time, he might as well go and find Amy. Someone who always listens to him. There’s no way he would open up, but he just needs someone there.

A minute later, he lands back outside her house, stepping out of the TARDIS, and closing the door behind him. He pushes the gate open, going through it, and up to her door, knocking briefly on it, and waiting.
